Beginner’s Guide to Realistic Drawing Techniques
by Lee Hammond
Separated into sections specific to drawing in graphite pencil or colored pencil and covering techniques while drawing faces, animals, and still life, this is a useful book for any artist’s reference shelf.
Bits that I found most useful myself were the use of reference photographs and graphing.
I would have liked to see a section on ink drawing included.
I received an electronic copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. 4/5 stars
