Agile Scrum

agileAgile Scrum: Your Quick Start Guide with Step-by-Step Instructions
by Scott M Graffius

Bare-bones overview of the Agile Scrum process complete with outlines and templates you can put into action immediately in your software development environment.

As with nearly all the software development books out there, it virtually ignores the testing process.

Also, this book is not optimized for reading on a Kindle device or PC app.

I did have to laugh at “Definition of Done.”  It was something we joked about at our daily Kanban stand-up meetings.

Coordinates for Murder

This short novel has me rethinking my love of geocaching.

It starts out benignly enough, with our protagonist settling up affairs at the office to prepare for an expedition with his buddy, but quickly sets them off on a fight for their lives.

It’s a quick read, and I think you’ll be quite surprised by the ending…I know I was!

Color me Smart brain puzzles coloring book (Arts On Coloring Books) (Volume 3)

I loved the kaleidoscopic designs in this coloring book and the added twist of figuring out which extra bit below fit in with the design (the brain puzzle part).

The designs are user-friendly (meaning, the spaces aren’t too small to color in).

I only wish there were more pages to the book…

Oh, and having a test color page in the back is awesome!!!

swearSwear Word Coloring Book: Stress Relief Coloring Book

I was a little disappointed in this coloring book. While it’s humorous to relieve your stress by coloring pictures with “bad words” embedded into them, some of these were too much of a stretch. My favorites were pages 5 and 39, where the words were more cleverly disguised.
